Welcome to St. Mary's Church, in the Diocese of Ely

Sadly, our beautiful Church building was the subject of an arson attack on 15th March 2010, which gutted the building. More detailed information is on 'The Fire in 2010' page.
April 2014 - after 4 years without a church building but with good attendances at services in the Church Hall, we once again have a church. Thanks are due to many people who have undertaken the work to restore the Church so beautifully. We now have a church that is in many ways just as it was before the fire but which now has good facilities for the present and for the future. It is ideal for both church and community use.
We share the Diocesan Vision Statement:
'We pray to be generous and visible people of Jesus Christ'
Believing that God calls us to discover together his transforming presence in our lives and in every community, in Jesus Christ we pray:
To engage fully and courageously with the needs of our communities, locally and globally
To grow God’s church by finding disciples and nurturing leaders
To deepen our commitment to God through word, worship and prayer.
